Aloha Bow Wow Luau & Cat's Meow Friends!
I'd like to thank all of the sponsors, donators, volunteers and attendees for making this year's (2011) Bow Wow Luau & Cat's Meow a record-breaking success! The night couldn't have been any more successful all the way around thanks to all the efforts of each and every one of you!
Like the tradition of cultural Polynesian fire dancing and authentic Hawaiian hula dancing, the event was a celebration of life. It was a celebration for the pets who have found loving homes, for the animals currently awaiting their new home, and for all the animals who will receive Adopt An Angel's help in the coming days, weeks and months ahead. It was also a celebration of you---the vital supporters who are always there for the animals.
Not all dogs and cats have homes----but we sure wish they did. Adopt An Angel Rescue believes all animals deserve love, happiness and loving care.
The event was successful on so many levels and it came together in an amazing way.....Bow Wow Luau raised a record-breaking $10,728.00! In addition to the amazing $10,728.00 raised, Ricardo Haragutchi donated $5,000.00 through his company for the upcoming "Spay A Stray" program! So, including the upcoming donation, the Bow Wow Luau raised a record-breaking $15,728.00!!
The night was a victorious night for the animals in New Hanover, Pender and Brunswick counties and God's blessings flowed on the Bow Wow Luau!
Thanks to your donations to Bow Wow Luau & Cat's Meow, these previously-abused and homeless animals will receive the lifesaving care and loving homes they so desperately need through the help of Adopt An Angel Rescue. These once-sad friends will be transformed by your love and generosity! If the animals could talk, they would say a very big "THANK YOU"! Mahalo~!!

Since 2004 over 5200 animals have found homes through Adopt an ANGEL's efforts. In 2010 alone, close to 830 cats and dogs were placed into their forever homes. So far, this year in 2011 another 400 have been placed. Close to 200 animals have been spayed or neutered this year as well--- preventing them and their offspring from entering into animal shelters in the first place.
